About The Founder

Kimberly McLemore is an Author and a renowned Management Analyst with over 25 years of working experience in the Project Management, Senior Consultant and Management Analyst fields; with an amazing communication skill. She is an effective leader and a team player with track records of providing management support to the government: overseeing multi-million dollar projects utilizing business acumen and establishing relationships.

Kimberly currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia and she is the Founder/Owner of the Women’s Small Business Initiative, LLC which provides a unique online platform designed to be a one-stop-shop pool of resources that will showcase businesses, unite, consult, provide mentorship, and networking events for members.

In the Quad Cities she conveniently ran Small Businesses of own: Berka Consulting for three years, Kid’s Day Preschool for ten years, and was the Co-Founder and Treasurer of the Hilltop Consulting Group for five years. Kimberly also served as a member of several business associations, and was featured in the Quad City Business Journal for Young Professionals Under40 years old and received numerous recognition’s for her outstanding performances from the Davenport, Iowa community.

Kimberly is a Davenport, IA native graduate of Ashford University. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management with a minor in Public Administration, CDA in Childcare Development from Scott Community College and a Certified Childcare Field Advisor. Kimberly is also a Military Veteran of fourteen years.

She is the author of “How to Be a Success by Just Being You.”
